Fishing Chix

Reel women fish. Fishin’ Chix is a first for the Pensacola area… a fishing club just for women. Ever fished? Never fished? All are welcome for fishing, fun, and friendship.
Fishin’ Chix started on the Gulf Coast when President and Founder, Claudia Espenscheid, had a fishing epiphany, after Ivan (Arlene, Dennis, Katrina, etc.) ruthlessly battered her Tiger Point neighborhood. Claudia realized, “All of us girls (think hurricane frazzled “Desperate Housewives”) were craving an escape from this madness…something far from MRE’s, FEMA trailers, piles of paperwork, or pantyhose.” And thus began the journey…over a year ago toward reeling in more in life.
Now the Fishin’ Chix meet monthly for fishing lessons with guide extraordinaire and Honorary Club Captain Wes Rozier, in-shore fishing regattas, fishing trips, Marine Patrol safety, cooking classes with renowned local chef, Jim Shirley.
Fishin’ Chix members enjoy fun monthly meetings, multiple in-shore and deep sea charter trips, and lessons and clinics to improve your knowledge & fishing skills and family fishing functions. Annual dues are only $50.00. Just visit their Membership page to get in on the fun.

Fishing is actually our fave sports activity, can there be a great deal of areas to hook some bass throughout the general vicinity as well think about using this kind of concept, the folks I do know in this general vicinity haven’t talked about this particular thing as a result im looking for an easier way to get more. The type of fish in these streams all over here often bite even a bare hook at times but its possibly not the particular fish i am trying to catch. Thanks with the info and will probably be eager for future post…

We may have to differ here to people with more knowledge on the matters, but my understanding is that bass are more fresh water and we mostly deal with salt and brackish (sp) waters in the Gulf and back bays. I know there is some fresh water fishing around and bass fishing is great in Alabama, but again, we are no experts here at Kaiser. There are many areas of the Alabama Gulf Coast open now to recreational fishing and some charter fishing available. If you are interested, we can get these links for you (or simply check out our daily Gulf Oil Spill Updates). All the best!
