The sun is setting on the summer season.  Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have enjoyed a wonderful summer season with record numbers of vacationers.  The Wharf will be going out with a bang as both Gretchen Wilson and Taylor Hicks will be performing this weekend.

Although some people might be afraid to say it, the Alabama Gulf Coast is back!  This summer has brought in more people than ever before, and it looks to keep growing into next year. 

This summer has also brought many newcomers to the area.  All of the press coverage on the hurricanes of 2004 and 2005, whether good or bad, has brought a lot of attention to the area, and the area has rebuilt bigger and better than before Ivan.
