Get ready for authentic German sausage!  That’s right.  The folks in Elberta are cooking it up this weekend with the Elberta Sausage Festival.  Began in 1978 as a fundraiser for the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department, the festival continues to be a great event for the community. 

Featuring arts, crafts, and of course, plenty of sausage, the Elberta Sausage Festival is a great excursion for the whole family, and a great day trip for anyone vacationing in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach areas.  The weather forecast is for spectacular fall weather, so why not eat some authentic German sausage?  All proceeds of the event go to the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department.
