Located in the city of Gulf Shores, seagulls and seashells are here to greet you at Gulf State Park. Consisting of 6,150 acres with 2 miles of sugar white sand beaches, the Gulf State Park has trails, birding, fishing, miles of cycling paths, nature programs and picnic areas. The new state of the art Beach Pavilion is the perfect place for group events or just enjoying the beach. In the south area of the park, the 900-acre Lake Shelby provides an abundance of freshwater fishing, skiing, and swimming.
