Helping us keep our beaches clean and pristine, the 21st Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup is scheduled for the morning of September 20, 2008. Since 1988, volunteers of the Alabama Coastal Cleanup have removed 951,987 pounds of trash and debris from the beautiful white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Ft. Morgan, AL, as well as our local inland waterways. This year, the Alabama Coastal Cleanup will surpass the 1 million pound milestone of beach trash and debris removal.
