The area’s newest development, The Wharf, has a wide variety of spectacular new restaurants that have added unique dining options that were previously unfound on the island. Taste the local pizza favorite, Papa’s Pizza, check out the popular Fontera
Mexican Restaurant, try cheeseburgers and shakes at the 50’s style Johnny Rockets, or watch the big game with your favorite food and drinks at Rafter’s Restaurant and Sports Bar. For one of the island’s best meals, try the steaks, seafood, or pastas at Ginny Lane’s Bar and Grill. Satisfy your sweet tooth at Dippin’ Dots or grab a cup of coffee at the island’s only Starbuck’s. But just wait! This development is only getting started. Look for the new Live Bait at the Wharf, Voodoos-by the founders of New Orleans infamous Tipitina’s, and others opening early 2007 to add to the unique dining and nightlife experiences at the Wharf. I met a friend at Johnny Rockets Diner at the Wharf. Truly a 50’s diner experience. It was great!! I had fanastic onion rings and a to-die-for chili cheeseburger. The service was great and, to top it off, the staff did a fun dance to entertain us all. What a great time!

Ginny Lanes’ brunch is outstanding! It is so nice to finally go somewhere in Orange Beach where the service is just as good as the food. My compliments to the chef!!

I tried the Jenny Lane Restaurant the other day…Very good, the chef, himself, even came out to see if I was happy with my meal. Everyone should try this. Kudos!!!
