Peninsula Golf Club: A Golfer’s Dream

Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club in Gulf Shores, AL is a true golfer’s paradise. Three 9-hole courses make up the Peninsula Golf Club. The Marsh, Cypress and Lakes Courses offer different challenges to golfers of all skill levels.
Having played Peninsula for the first time yesterday, I was more than pleased with the course and service but not too happy with my play! My friend and I played the Marsh and Lakes courses, and I have to say that both courses were in excellent condition. There was not a piece of brown grass to be found, and the greens were playing so fast, it was like putting on concrete. Several of our putts rimmed-out softly only to end up rolling 10-15 feet away from the hole! It was a true golf challenge, which we both enjoyed. The difficult greens made it that much better when we were able to sink some 15-footers.
With excellent facilities, GPS systems in each golf cart, great food and spectacular courses, Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club is truly a unique golfing experience. The property is situated on the scenic Ft. Morgan peninsula and is bordered on 2 sides by the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with Mobile Bay to the north. Wind through live oaks, cypress trees and natural vegetation as you drift into golf bliss.
