Alabama’s Gulf Coast offers a wonderful variety of inshore and offshore saltwater fishing opportunities and is the home of Alabama’s largest charter fishing fleet, with boats that an accommodate up to 60 passengers and 44 fishermen. Once you’ve picked the boat you want to charter, you can request your dates and let them know your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. My name is Captain Mo Shaver. I have been a meember of the O.B.F.A. for the past nine years. The O.B.F.A. is wonderful organization that has helped support the fishing industry throughout the area and continues to do so. They are playing a key role in keeping our red snapper fishery alive and thriving. Please support them and their cause as well as all of the members of this wonderful orginization. Support is needed from all areas and is possible despite not being in the charter fishing industry. Ive been a member of the Orange Beach Fishing Association for six years and would like to recognize it’s members and its support of conservation, education, legistlation and reef building in the gulf waters off of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. I would encourage your personal and business support of the OBFA.
I would also recommend that you check in Capt. Mo Shaver of Mo Fishin before you wet a hook. He will give you expert advice and help you with your tackle needs.
I personally want to invite you and your family to come fishing with us on the Distraction Charter Boat located at Zeke’s Marina in Orange Beach. We specialize in nearshore and offshore family deep sea fishing. Private charters up to six passengers is our specialty. Kids are welcome and parents can relax. We run 2 to 3 trips a day during June, July and August. We are open year-round. Trolling and Bottom fishing is our specialty.
