Cotton Creek, the original Palmer design on the Alabama Gulf Coast is located within Craft Farms, a master planned community in north Gulf Shores. This resort golf course offers a unique setting combining the mystique of golf legend Arnold Palmer with true Southern hospitality and charm. Wood lined and over-seeded during the winter and spring months, this gem of a course is always lush and green and a pleasure to play year-round. Featuring rolling fairways and large undulating greens, Cotton Creek is a championship
course that is very playable from the forward tees and a true challenge of over 7,000 yards from the tips. True to its Palmer design, this traditional 18-hole masterpiece is recommended by Golf Digest as “a great vacation course with a great staff.”

What a wonderful course! My father and I played Cotton Creek today, and the condition of the course could not have been any better. From tee to green, all there is to see is green, lush and inviting. Everything about Craft Farms is great, the staff, the setting, and most importantly, the golf. It is a bit tougher than its sister course, Cypress Bend, but the risk vs. reward aspect of the course allows for a different round every time out.
