Do you remember when you were young and loved to “help” you parents prepare dinner or bake a cake? Great memories. I remember my sister and I fighting over who could like spatula after my mom finished icing a cake. Now is your chance to give your kids the opportunity to learn a few things in the kitchen for themselves. Distinctive Kitchens at the Wharf in Orange Beach, AL will be holding a Kid’s Culinary Camp on June 23, 24 and 25. This 3 day camp is a little more involved than just licking a spatula though. During the 3 day camp, your children will be exposed to international cuisine from Spain, Italy, Hawaii and Cuba.

Part of the menu will include grilled shrimp and risotto, gazpacho, chicken parmesan, cubano sandwiches, grilled snapper, and beef empanadas just to name a few items. The Kid’s Culinary Camp is open to children grades 4-8 and is limited to 12 seats. Tuition is $139 per child for the 3 day camp with classes running from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on June 23, 24 and 25.
