The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL recently announced another addition to their “Pepsi Star Concert Series.” Counting Crows will be live at the Wharf on August 7, 2009, along with special guests, Michael Franti, Spearhead and Augustana.

Counting Crows rose to fame with the hit song, “Mr. Jones,” a cut from their 1994 album August and Everything After.  They were nominated for an Academy Award for their song “Accidentally in Love,” which was included on the Shrek 2 soundtrack.

Ticets for the Aug. 7 concert went on sale on June 27, and prices range from $20.00 to $55.00. Tickets may be purchased online through Ticketmaster.
