Blockbuster Summer Acts Coming to The Wharf!

A blockbuster list of top-name musical acts have been added to The Ampitheater at The Wharf lineup for Summer 2009! Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp are booked for July 31.  In May, light rock harmonies from the 1970’s will be served up by Three Dog Night.  They group  appears at The Ampitheater at The Wharf on May 24.chicagorhino3_bnpic1

Chicago/Earth, Wind & Fire take the stage on June 5. Styx/REO Speedwagon and Steely Dan have back-to-back dates on June 18 and June 19. Fort Morgan Marker Honors First Alabamian to Lose Life in Civil War

Fort Morgan Historic Marker(Fort Morgan, AL)  A humble historical marker on the white sands just outside Fort Morgan, AL is a pilgrimage for many members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon national social fraternity.   It is here, in the waters of Mobile Bay, that this national social  fraternity’s founding father became the first Alabama soldier to die in the Civil War.
