Lake Shelby

While cruising the beach highway from Gulf Shores to Orange Beach, look to your left and there’s the awesome Lake Shelby Recreation Area!  Did you know that while the Gulf of Mexico is just off your right shoulder past the dunes, that Lake Shelby is 900 acres of fresh water? Boating? Yep. Fishing? You bet. Swimming, water-skiiing or windsurfing? Bring it! The Nature Center will introduce you to the diverse flora and fauna of the area. There are picnic tables and small pavilions you and your crew can rent. Don’t miss the Gulf State Park’s Nature Center if ecotourism is your passion. Check out the Alabama Gulf State Park online to see the tremendous amenities available for hikers, cyclists, campers, boaters, golfers, anglers…you name it!

The Alabama Gulf Coast offers beautiful beaches, but so much more!  Need a beach home for your crew?  What about a condo on or off the beach?  Or try  the privacy of the Fort Morgan area for your next vacation rental stay. Call-877-405-5587  and the professional reservationists at Kaiser Realty will help you find the perfect Gulf Coast vacation rental  this summer!
