Winter may be the most overlooked time of year to visit the Alabama Gulf Coast. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL are especially attractive to people from the states that literally freeze for months at a time. The months of December through March offer a different kind of vacation experience. The moderate weather in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach areas offers a nice escape from the harsh winters of the north.
